No Tantrums Here!

Connor can say apple ("appa") and point it out on his alphabet chart now when prompted. We also hear him attempting to imitate things we say- "wow" and "good job" are two of the latest.
He has a set of watercolor markers that with supervision he is allowed to use. He is very proud of his creations. When playing independently, he has become much more self-sufficient in entertaining himself.
He remains very much a "people person" and continues to garner gifts from kind strangers charmed by his smile and blond hair. Yesterday the neighbor gave him a box of cookies. Last night he appeared at his dad's school by special request of the students in the classroom next door who were waiting for their lesson to begin. Connor was happy to oblige.
He has also become a really big fan of the bath. I am trying to learn to be careful about saying anything about "going to the bathroom" when I really mean toilet, because all he hears is "BATH" and no matter what time of day, will make a mad rush for the furoba and then get really upset when he finds out that I dont actually mean "bath." Luckily the world is an exciting place for a toddler, and it is relatively easy to distract him with something else in a matter of seconds. (by Elizabeth)
